At Sojourner Church, we tend to appreciate simplicity and authenticity. We have generally tried to keep our website simple, but also pleasant to look at. We’ve had several incarnations over the years, and they’ve never been what you might call fancy. We have just updated our website, and it may seem fancier than it has been before, but it really isn’t…I use web editing software from the UK-based developer, Softpress: Freeway, currently at version 7.0.2, along with a template called “Assistant.” I like the way it looks, but it’s my hope that it will also be a little more usable than the previous iteration.
It’s my hope to include more details about congregational activities; in addition to Sunday morning worship, we meet on the first and third Wednesdays for Bible Study…it would be nice to have the relevant passages in the calendar on their appropriate dates. We also meet for informal fellowship on the second and third Wednesdays at a local restaurant, and it would be nice to know in advance at which restaurant we’ll meet, so they will go on the calendar as well.
